Paint Questions

I am getting ready to paint my 84 Bronco. The plan is to use an epoxy primer and an acylic enamal top coat. This is a hunting and do all vehicle. Can a clear coat be applied over the top coat for added protection (and shine)?

I have not used a clear coat over acrylic enamel but I did ask around and the answeres I got were YES! You might want to consider using polyurethane single stage paint which is an enamel but has a good shine without a clearcoat.

PAINTED !!!! Finally. I went with PPG OMNI epoxy primer and acrylic urathane. I have to say I am impressed with the paint no need for clear.
