Looking for an aftermarket alarm which works well with a Super Duty

My new 2008 F-250 came with no security system whatsoever (no chip key, no keyless entry). I need to install an aftermarket security system (preferably with remote door unlock, and engine immobilizer). Can anyone recommend a brand and model of alarm that interfaces well with the systems in a Diesel Super Duty please? Thank you.

Viper 5901, has the delay start for the glow plug warmup, it has a turbo cool-down setting, immobilizer, etc. and best of all a 1 mile range on the remote.

You used the words "aftermarket alarm" and "works well" in the same sentence....I'm still laughing here.

I second the Viper. I've had it for over a year with no problems. I recommend adding the remote start, sure comes in handy.

Put another one down for the viper alarm. As to the chip keys, I don't think superduties ever came with the PAT keys. I could be wrong, but I don't think they did.

PATS was not available in the Super Duty from 99-07 (however it was available in the Excursion). Ford has offered it in the 08-09 trucks though.

As far as the OP question, I have the Autopage RS1000 and I am very happy with it.

I figured they didn't(atleast during my truck's model years). I knew my mom's explorer and expedition had them, but I was fairly sure the truck's didn't have them, til now that is).
