good deal or not on a 93 lighting?

I have just got my first full size truck.
Getting out of a 91 nissan and into
my "new" 93 lighting. This truck was
owned by a ford senoir master tech.
The miles are high (185000) but the
engine was rebiult about 40000 miles ago.
I am looking for the 17' rims-need some
ideas. Anyway was 3000 to much for this
truck. The body is in great shape and is
fixing to be repainted (the org paint looks
good after hour or two of waxing ever other
week). Thanks for the info.

That sounds like a good price to me if its in good shape. Every now and then someone will be selling used wheels in good shape on e-bay oe AFS sell Gen 2 wheel (18") to fir our Gen 1 trucks.

That seems like a very good price, the Gen1's seem to last over 100,000 fairly easy. I have owned mine for 9 years and its been great.
Going from a Nissan to a Lightning is going to be a hugh change.
You will get alot of ideas on how to modify it, and what will work and what won't.

Hay thanks for the info-

I just had it painted and what a difference!!
I'm looking for the lighting decows for the
bed and tailgate to finish the looks.
I've put about 6000 miles on it so far and
love it, what a change. Hoping to do some
more upgrades in the near future. Thanks
again for the info!!!:-X12
