Back up light
I have a picture of mine in my gallery. I just mounted them in the holes that were already in the bumper. I elected not to wire them into the back up lights, because i didn't want them to come on everytime i backup. I put a switch in my dashboard where the electric 4x4 switches go.
Primary rig is:
95' F-150 EB 300/6 5 spd with 4" Superlift, MSD, Ram Air, Gibson Exhaust, 32" BFG Muds
NEW PICS IN MY GALLERY!! :-)
Then theres:
88' F-250 Superduty 351 + c6
95' Mercury Cougar 4.6L V-8
80' E-350 300/6 and a
3 spd column shifter. Top speed, 65mph, Go Baby Go!
The newest addition to the Ford family is a 99' Mustang GT 4.6L

If your aftermarket backups are bright enough to do you any good, they'll draw too much curent to simply splice them into the existing circuit. Use an independently fused relay. Wire the control for the relay thru a switch or into your existing circuit or both, as you choose.

I bought some small oval foglights. They are about 2.5 inches wide and about 1.5 tall. (@ Walmart in orange box around $20?) I mounted them to the bottom of my bumper at the ends (existing holes). These lights only hang down about 2" so I haven't broke them off yet. (my bumper is also tapered up at the ends). They work quite well and I haven't had any problems with them yet. As for wiring, I agree that StrangeRanger has listed the correct way to wire them. I decided to go the quick way out and just tapped them into the existing BU lights. (kind of curious how long it would last) They have been working that way for 6+ months. I am actually surprised that the BU light switch hasn't melted yet. I probably get away with it because they aren't on all the time.
If you look in my gallery you can sort of see them.

The other day I saw a burban that had a stepbumper and had his rectangular fog style light mounted into the bumper. Basically they just cut rectangles in the bumper and mounted the lights. They used some sort of black platic molding to finish off the metal that was cut. It looked really clean too. I plan to do mine like that in a couple of weeks.
