best friend got a set of mudders from pepboys. They seem to be a good set for him. Flea market has a vendor there.

If you can mount and balance them yourself, you might want to check out tirerack.com and some other online places. Also, my dad just put a set of Radial Buckshot Mudders on his truck back in the summer. He seems to be happy with them and they were fairly reasonable in price. I think Gateway tire on rt. 747 in Tri-County carries them, but not sure who else.

Gateway supplies tires to a lot of the smaller garages around the tri-state area. My buddy in Alexandria gets a lot of his tires through Gateway.

Personally, I like 12" wide tires. I have 285/75R16 on my superduty, which are about a 33/12.50R16. Just remember if you go much bigger, that unless you have fender flares, the wider tires will throw mud and rocks up the side of your truck. If you look in the phone book, it is listed under Gateway Tire off of rt. 747 in Tri-County.

+1 on the Buckshot Mudders. They are a great tire and look mean too. Buddy had a set on his suburban a few years ago.

well i know some people to get the buckshots for cheap, about 111 a tire brand new, but i was checkin out dunlop radial mud rovers, kinda cheap aggressive plus radials, and the hole throwing mud on the side of the truck is what im going for, lol the truck all ready has its scraches and dents, so im not too worried on that part.
