Stuck in tow/haul

On my way home from work today my truck got stuck in tow/haul mode and the light was flashing. If i pushed the button it would disengage for 3-5 sec. then go back in tow/haul on its own. Well i parked and shut the truck off, when i started it back up everything was fine. Is my trans getting ready to go out or am i paranoid?
Im using a sct tuner and i cant remember who did the tune, but it was someone i found on these forums(innovative???) im not sure why that would cause that to happen though.

edit: 2004 f250 6.0 PSD auto trans

Really? Noone???? I wouldnt be that worried about it but i read elsewhere that peoples transmissions had catastrophic failure after having the same thing happen. Still havent found a cause for it though.

Mine does this from time to time but I think I've got a short in the wiring in the shifter or my OD button is going out.

I know of two people that had same problem, one was the wiring harnes in the shifter that wore out and caused it to short out around $100 to repair, and the other was the solenoid swith inside the transmission $1500 to repair.

I had an early build 05. Before I made the first payment on it, I was returning from a trip to Florida and got caught in a terrible snow/ice storm. When I was about 15 miles from home, the T/H light started flashing and it continued flashing even after shutting down and restarting. The manual said to have truck serviced immediately to avoid possible damage. So being 15 miles from home in a snow storm and very late in the night to boot, I had no choice but to try to get home. To make a long story short, the truck got me and my wife home and we left the truck idling while we unloaded a horse from the trailer. When I got back in the truck to park the trailer, it wouldn't move. The next day it still wouldn't move. I had it flat-bedded to my dealer and it was fixed under warranty. Not sure what the damage actually was, but considering that it wouldn't move an inch, I assume it was pretty severe. It never gave me an ounce of trouble after that, though.
