I would go to someplace like Online Auto Parts and Auto Accessories Store at PartsAmerica.com, and look up a flexplate for a crown vic, and then the one for your truck. If they are the same part number you are ok to swap.
As far as the other stuff, I would strip the crown vic engine down, and put all the truck stuff on it. Then it will be all original except for the long block. Also check out the firing order. If the crown vic has a HO engine, then the firing order will be different and you will just have to swap the sparkplug wires around to make it work.
