You could try Dennis Carpenter, www.dennis-carpenter.com, or Job Lot Auto, www.joblotauto.com. Carpenter has the kit for the smaller trucks, I don't know if they're the same for the larger trucks. Job Lot carries a lot more parts for the larger trucks than most of the other truck places like Carpenter. Also, have you tried your local NAPA store, or any other good, non chain auto parts stores? You'd be surpised at what a good parts store can get for our old trucks. Also, check you area for a places that do front end repairs and sell parts, if they don't have what you're looking for they may be able to steer you to some one that does.

B5TZ3A533A .. Drag Link Ball Stud Repair Kit (the only way the parts you need were available).

Fits: 1948/56 F4/F5/F6 & F5/F6 COE / 1953/56 F350.

How many kits would you like?

Collectors Auto Supply in Oroville WA has 22 = 800-800-414-4462

Klimesh Motor Sales (Ford Dealer) in Calmar IA has 3 = 563-562-3241

Miller Obsolete Parts in Binghamton NY has 3 = 800-546-7278

Fred Grande Ford in Richmond MI has 3

Freese Motors (Ford Dealer) in Monticello IA has 1 = 319-465-3541

Bowman Ford Sales in Bowman ND has 1 = 701-523-3257

Ed Bennett Ford Parts in Lebanon PA has 1 = 717-272-8762

Dennis Carpenter does not have any.

Howdy,

Be particularly careful to ask whomever you buy it from to pull the rubber parts out of the package and look them over before they send it to you.

I bought one from Joblot (new old stock of course) and when I pulled on the rubber parts (dust cover), they crumbled in my hand.

I had to buy the whole kit by the way....

You may have to make your own dust cover.

Regards,

Rick

If you're West Coast, check with Fast Undercar... they had all my F-5 brake parts for $180 (JobLot was asking ~$250 IIRC)

I checked the Under Car web site, it looks like you have to be an auto repair shop to buy from them. Too bad, it would be nice if they did E commerce to the public.

I've bought from them several times before, and don't mind picking up parts for folks here if they need them. Just PM me and we can work something out.
