Anyone have a link to the PF show? I would at least like to get the information

I doubt I can make it. Not that the old truck would not, but that is a long drive and $$$. Its 10.5 hours in a modern vehicle....which I do not want to drive.

I will be at the Ozarks run in July though. Unless I end up in the hospital again...like last year. I had to get someone in the club to cancel my room at the last minute.

EDIT: This is all I can find about it online:

Dates: TBA

Great Smoky Mountains F-100 Run
Smoky Shadows Convention Center
864-710-7844

I can't call anyone on a phone for imformation, so if anyone has a flier or anything...I would appreciate the info.

The show dates are at this link. June 25-27th. This is the website for the show. Hope it helps

Rodney pass up Knoxville and come on to PF. I missed this year but was there in 07. Only problem Rodney the PF show is the exact same weekend as Goodguys @ Nashville. Which is about 70 miles from your door. Choices, choices, choices.

BrianB go to this link you will see the show Flyer. I talked to Jake, one of the promoters, about 5 minutes ago. Show is still on.

Indiana Brian, also I see on the SS F100 Run website above that Kevin has posted today so the SSF100 Run website appears to be good as well.

If you guys are considering going you might want to check on room availability. Better to have and be able to cancel then not have.

Thanks Donald.

1. I am getting old.

2. I think I need glasses. I totally missed that.

I am at work, but I will read it when I get home.

If everything works out, I'll be going back to Pigeon Forge this year. Last year was a blast, even though I had to head out too early. May try to get the Friday before off work this year.

2009 nats id going to be a great show. I talked to the new owner's rep and he said they expect more than 2000 cars and 10,000+ spectators. It is going to be a great worthwhile trip with the venders and swap meet. thats ALOT of cars

Is there anyway to print just the flyer. Seems when I print this thing it's the whole page and its to small to fill in the information. So what am I doing wrong?

If you are using internet explorer, you right click --> save picture as (save it to your computer).

Then you can print just the flier.

In your case, I am not sure what sizes it will print. I have several graphics softwares, I can resize it in and print a full page.

Chuck,
I wouldnt think you would need to print it out. You can just register at the show. Like I mentioned earlier I think it would be more important to have a place to stay lined up.

Lift tech,

It is good to see your username appear. I am probably like you, I read much more than I post.

On another note, if you get the day off on Friday before the show, let me know. I would enjoy meeting up and traveling together on the last leg of the trip (Hwy 40). This way, if either of us has trouble (that never happens), we can help each other out.

But which show is apt to have more 48-50 F1's?

I would think the supernationals will still have more f1s than the PF show if all you wanted was to look at examples and compare. But if you are looking for a fun show
with atmosphere you will want to go to PF.

I concur with Brian for sheer volume the Knoxville show is probably going to have more F1's. But now for a good casual laid back show PF will be better.

I've been busy, man. Trying to see how much the old truck can haul before she throws drivetrain parts at me. Couple that with the holidays, and work ramping up, and computer time gets short. We had a few family things pop up along the way, did I tell you I'm an uncle now?

Not sure if you saw my truck last year, but I had about half the tools from my service truck crammed in the cab, a couple of jacks and a drain pan in the bed. If I'd left all that at home, I might have picked up another 2 or 3 MPG. But better to have and not need, I guess. As long as you don't mind a slow ride, that sounds like a plan.

Liftech,
Great! We can work out travel plans at a later time. Until then, I better get to work to finish up my truck.
