I am having to set out my vacation for 09 and I am still up in arms about going back to Knoxville this year. I spoke with Pat Ford @ Bowling Green and he had the new flyer since the show has changed hands again since May 08. Of course he was selling it hard. I am just afraid of the arrival of 2000 08 mustangs and other stuff that takes away from the F100 Supernationals. I also noticed that since the years were opened up for the trucks that attendance had went down but I think that is mainly where the show is located at the City of Knoxville Fort Knox Gated Park. I may go back if some FTE members go but I don't know yet.
Just scrap the Nationals and join us at peigon forge the week of the 25th of June, going to be more hometown like truck show with a lot of FTE guys attending again and enjoying discussing our old trucks till the early morning hours and just having FUN, see ya there, Garry
We also plan to attend the show in PF in June. The Nats seems to be a dying thing as far as F100s go.
Garry, what are the exact dates of this year's show? Donna needs to put in for vacation.
I went to the Ozark Run in Branson last year, had a great time looking at all the F100,s Must of gained 10 pounds at all the buffets. Great place with a lot of things to do. I,ve never been to the Knoxville show nor the Pigeon Forge show. Are there a lot of varius side things to do while your there.
The show dates are at this link. June 25-27th. This is the website for the show. Hope it helps
Rodney pass up Knoxville and come on to PF. I missed this year but was there in 07. Only problem Rodney the PF show is the exact same weekend as Goodguys @ Nashville. Which is about 70 miles from your door. Choices, choices, choices.
I was at NPD in Ocala Florida and the flyer they had there was that the 09 NTS are sponsored by them. Pat Ford is no longer sponser.
I think where-ever the FTE family goes--I will go. Bill/Terri
Hey homade, we may not go this year? We are still undecided as of yet. Money is real tight since all thats been going on in my family and "IF" we do go, we'll probably drive my new truck instead, since it gets alot better MPG's?
As of now, we are still in the process of our decision, BUT we will NOT go back to the "nats" since the change
Same as Nashville, thats a problem. Nearly all of our people go to Nashville and thats a big puller for our show in Ardmore. Well sorry about the PF show, I will have to be in Nashville that weekend. I will problably skip the Nats in Knox too. I was thinking about tracking up to Michigan for the Woodard cruise next summer.

The 2009 SuperNats will be an "all comers" show.
At the 2008 SuperNats, I spoke with one of the new owners reps...expect to see a lot more cars in 2009.
The reason for all the cars? To make more money...what else!
The rep said the attendence (and money) was down, and the show's promoter is hoping by adding lots of cars, the attendence (and money) will improve.
I've never attended a swap meet that was as dead as the 2008 Nats was on Thursday, and I've been attending swap meets since 1966.
This 3 day swap meet was the only reason I went to the Nats.
At any SoCal swap meet (rain or shine), it's standing room only before dawn breaks. And...the "goodies" are usually gone by 9AM.
