Differences between 07 and 08 Super Duty
Other than the obvious sheetmetal and interior differences, what all was changed on the 08 redesign? I mean, is it an all new frame, is the structural stuff under the skin new also?

Motor went to a twin sequential turbo setup. I think the front axle changed again. And the frame may have become a little more boxed?
Other than that really can't help ya. Had a DVD talking about all the changed but haven't seen it for awhile.

The 08s use the 'Quiet Steel' in the cab construction. I know my 08 is worlds better than the 04 it replaced, in my opinion.

I recall there was more changes than a person could list. One of the guys on the forum from Ford said even though they look more or less the same the 08 was close to a complete redesign not just a facelift. It has hundreds of new parts.

Why would you need a constant velocity joint in a solid front axle?

So is there a CV joint behind the knuckle or not? Someone who actually owns an 08 should go look.
