Squeaky Seat

I have a '06 Screw and my drivers seat squeaks really loud when I lean to the left...it seems to be getting louder and louder. Do you think I can just shoot some WD40 up underneath on the springs or is there a better way to fix this?

Just went in friday about the same thing. My truck has 30kmiles on it so I think still being in warranty helped... There interior guy said the form was breaking down "through" the springs, so he took the seat out and re-inforced w/ burlap between foam and spring. He did mention doing a few other things and mentioned I'll never hear it again. It took about 2 hrs, but it is "perfect".
Try going to the dealer first and complain and if there no help go to a interior guy. Good Luck

along the same lines, has anyone had a problem with a squeaky front passenger seat when there's nobody sitting in it? When it's cold out, there is something squeaky from underneath the seat and I can't figure out what the heck it is. When someone sits in the seat (adding weight to it), I don't hear the squeak. There's some wire harness plugs under there but I didn't find anything loose.

Wow and here I thought some WD40 would fix it...haha Well mine has 58,000 miles on it but its still under the extended warranty until 75,000. Guess I'll have to drop it off sometime.
