I wanna turbo my 300!

I have a few questions about it, if i go with like 3-5 psi of boost is it gunna hurt any internals, how much added power would i see? what is the megasquirt? and could someone kinda make a parts list of what i would need to make one work? i read the just turbo'd my 300 thread looked sweet, but i dont need that much power but would like a little more!

Its not the PSI that you need to look at, its the total air volume the cylinders take it. That's why things like porting a blower can lower PSI but increase power.

The Megasquirt is a universal EFI computer.

Lead Head has a good reputation on FTE. Lead Head has a good reputation on FTE. Lead Head has a good reputation on FTE.
The 300-6 does not have the highest compression, 3-5 PSI, maybe even 7 would probably be ok as long as you made sure sure you had good fuel delivery.

If you have a MAF, pretty much the only thing you have to do is just upgrade the fuel injectors, and the computer should roughly take care of most of it. If you have a MAP sensor, its more complicated as you will need to get a new map sensor as well as custom computer programming to actually make use of it. Might actually be cheaper and easier to get a MAF computer, sensor and harness form a truck at a junkyard if you have a MAP system.

You'll want an intercooler too, even with that relatively low boost.
