Question Firewall reinforcement for clutch MS?

Does anyone sell a firewall reinforcement plate for the clutch master cylinder area. The firewall on my FrankenRanger drive truck is starting to rip and I want to head off future trouble.

Thanks, Mike

Not that I know of, but should be easy enough to make from aluminum or steel plate. What year is your truck Mike?

Thanks Wendell!
It is a 1992 Extended cab 2X4 with 3.0 5sp that I completely rebuilt back to factory specks. It is the only truck I have owned that everything in and on it works! The body panels are all different colors outside since I built the truck from 5 other trucks so I named it the FrankenRanger and do not intend to paint it all one color but plan to keep it the FrankenRanger!

I see a lot of cabs with the firewall rip around the clutch master cylinder. If I find that there is a need across a few different generations of Ranger for this fix, I will do my best to look into manufacturing a plate and putting them together in turn key kits. So far I see two cabs in my inventory with the rip so maybe there is a need for this.

If someone knows of a kit already out there, please let me know so I can get one on my truck before it breaks further!

I know the earlier F-150's (mid to late 80's?) had this problem, and there was actually a kit available from Ford to fix it. Don't know if that would be of any help...
