Need 4" Pipe for DIY Intake 6637

I can't find anyone that has any 4" exhaust pipe locally, can anyone tell me where I can get a small piece for the 6637 filter I just ordered from Fleetfilter.com? Most places said yea we can order you a 10' stick of it .

NAPA has one that is pre-bent at a 45° angle. I am sorry I don't know the p/n though.

I have a late 99' so I really just need a straight piece. I'm not sure a 45 will work.

your in the wrong fourm for a 99. but if you go to your local parts store. napa-bumper to bumper ect. they can order you different pipes that are pre-bent or straight in 4" just tell them what you need.

If NAPA doesn't have what you need try a BIG truck store...they might have it. You can use a 45º elbow, 3" schedule 40 PVC pipe too. Just cut off the bell end then fit it to your needs. I'm pretty sure it's 3", it should measure 4" outside diameter.

Good catch Mitch!
79f-250custom is right, if it's a 99 you may want to go up to that forum for your needs.

I have an '00 Excursion 7.3. I did the 6637 and you don't need a pipe. just remove the intake hose and clamp. Then put the filter down with the hole up. Stick your arm thru the hose to help push it out while you are pushing it on the filter. It may seem like it will not fit but trust me it will. Then replace the clamp. You my have to trim the rubber alignment notches for the clamp a bit. I promise it will fit.

If Neals fix won't work just get a 3" pvc coupling perfect OD then just clamp it on.

I bought a 12" piece from NAPA when I did my open element filter in 2001 or so and cut it in half (make sure ALL the metal shavings are out before you install).

for the 99 app all you need is a 3 inch pvc coupling, it has an od of 4 inches. Will also save $$
