Oil in the air intake between the filter and the turbo

anyone know what would be causing oil in the air intake between the filter and the turbo is that normal

Yes that is normal it comes from your crank case vent you can cure that try searching ccv mod

Yep, it normal but not necessarily a good or bad thing....unless you install an intercooler.

That's a nice kit but $335 is a bit steep....and $65 filters to replace!

Do like WALJON said, Search this site for CCV mod. There are many ways to "skin this
cat". It can be done for less than $50.

I agree it can be done for less money but for quality and function the kit really is quality, the installed product looks OEM.

Dave, The problem with selling that in these forums....the CCV mod is really not needed unless an IC is installed IMO. The guys in the NBS trucks may benefit from it though.

I actually like the way I install them. I tap into the exhaust so there is suction on the CCV. The fumes are burned up and a HP increase may be had. I use them on gassers and have seen a 20-30 HP increase, on a dyno...Oh crap, here we go again!
