Tips on Engine removal F600 or N600-1964
I am trying to pull the engine from the transmission and it seems that I can not go any further than approx. 1". I guess it is binding somewhere on the transmission shaft.
Any tips?
I have tried to pull it apart with a pry bar on top, but not on bottom?
Do I need to hold up the transmission's bell housing even though the transmission has side mounts?
Should I use an engine leveler?
Or???
Let me know and thank you for all and any info!

Most members of this forum have F100/350 pickups. F100/350's use different V8 engines than 500 and larger series trucks.
