1978 ford ranger explorer STRIPES (HELP)

hello, i'm new here but am finding it to be a great site already. I have a 78 ranger explorer that my dad bought new and both brothers drove it and I am going to restore it as my brother who was killed when he was fifteen drove it before i got it in 1992. To my disliking, i had it repainted in 1997. The truck was originally dark FLAT green with the explorer two tone stripes over the hood and sides. The dash and dash pad are what i would call an emerald metallic green. The dash pad is cracked and I have been searching for a mint one THAT color for years. It seems that color interior was not very common. Does anyone have or know whereabouts of a NICE pad that color? Also, does anyone know the paint code for that color? I am in the process of purchasing a full running 78 from nevada thats rust free to restore mine. I have most everything except a good dash pad! any help is greatly appreciated!

will post pictures soon! Oh also anyone have a reasonably priced manual tilt steering column for sale?

You can purchase dash pad covers that come in black and then repaint it to match whatever color you like...just an option you may want to consider.

The 1978 Explorer was very comon in that green. Too bad the 1978 Explorer by itself is rare.
