NEW MEMBER Introduction Thread (NO TECH QUESTIONS)
New here but not to Forums, been a Jeeper a long time on forums and have run one, not new to Fords either. First car was a '67 Cougar, first truck was a '71 F-250 Camper Special. At 56 I have owned over 80 titleable vehicles, yes I love to play.
Just sold my 2009 F-350 CCLB 4x4 that I had almost 8 years, longest I have ever owned on and 2 weeks ago we bought a 2016 F-250 CC Platinum 4x4 and again with a diesel.......This will be my retirement truck. The wife is a Ford lover too, her first car was an early Maverick. We both love speed and power a bit too much, my toy is a Goldwing and hers is a Victory Cross Country that we haul behind the truck. Her current ride is a 2014 Taurus SHO and is a real kick to drive and to beat the young punks in their hemi challengers or the guys in the GT stangs..

Hello everyone, I've been having fun looking at all the different types of vehicles and going through the threads. I'm falling in love with FTE. There's always something good to read on here. A year ago my wife and I got a 2000 Ford Excursion Limited 6.8L v10. I don't know how many owners before us, but I do know there SHALL BE NONE after. It needs a lot of TLC and I'm the one that's going to give it to it. Therefore, I'll be around. Please keep those threads going and post coming. Mad love & respect

First Ford! 2002 Excursion V10
Hey everyone. I just bought my first Ford today after spending the last couple of month searching for the right one. I really wanted a 7.3L, which I guess is the "thing" but after doing my research and looking at them I decided to get the V10 Triton. I have read enough forums and comments about each engine that I wanted to blow my brains out! ha. In the end this made sense. The mileage is low (100K) it was a one owner car and being that it is a 2002 it means that they put less then 8K miles on it a year. For the price I am happy and I had a local Ford Dealership look at in and said it was in great shape.
Now.... Where do I even begin with modifications? I plan on getting a sway bar for the back, new suspension, shocks, exhaust, intake, I just don't know where to begin. I plan on searching the forum, but any advice is appreciated.
Lastly, if there is anyone in the tristate area that can recommend a good shop to get the modifications done that would be great, I am located in Philly.
Best,
Josh
