I forgot to mention, I'm here 'cause I am very seriously considering a 2004 SuperDuty (6.0 diesel) at the moment, and I figured I would ask a bit about them... they have a bit of a bad reputation, don't they?

Hi there good people !
My name is Ard and I'm a Dutchman living in Germany.
I've driven Land Rovers for over 20 years hence the Defender in my avatar.
Our plan is to buy a Ford IDI Bullnose and drive around the US in June next year and ship it home after that.
Currently spending a lot of time looking for one scouring Craigslist etc.

Looking forward to that and we might even meet some of you as we travel around more or less from Oregon to Virginia via Nevada, Arizona, Oklahoma Kentucky and what else we find time for.

Cheers, Ard (and my wife Tessa)

Hi Everyone!

I'm a new member and wanted to ask a question.
Recently traded 2011 F250 King Ranch for a 2014 F350 King Ranch both 6.7 diesel. Started having lots of issues with various fuel and emission components after 98K miles on the 2011. Most costly was the fuel injectors. My question is do you all use fuel supplements? If so, what kind and how often? Thanks!!!

Hello every body .Ive been a Ford man all my life . Been looking around for a good ford truck . bought a 2000 Excursion Xlt about 2 yrs ago from a guy in Dayton Ohio . It has a 10" pro comp lift . 38"x20 gumbo mudders .
After searching the vin # found out that it was a Ford dealer promo truck . The lift was done by a dealer in Nevada , The truck went to Missouri ,Then Indiana,
The guy I bought it from ,His girl friend bought it ,and I bought it from him .
I replaced the whole front suspension , all the brakes .New brake lines . Love this monster . Every where I go people just about run off the road looking at it . I have even had people offer to pay me just to take them for a ride . Can wait to be able to post pic .You always see jacked up trucks ,But how many suvs ,specially king excursions do you see . I have seen a couple since I got mine .
It need a new rocker panel replaced under driver side rear door . But thats it . It has the v-10 .Its never been off road . Dot want to beat this king up . Hope to meet some good friends here .

Hi From Ontario

Hi , just joined, been thinking about buying a 64-66 style truck, and this looked like a good place to get some info.
Off to look at a 66 tomorrow.

Hey all, just joined this site as I have started to get my project under way and thought it would be a good idea to have the opinions of people with experience in these realms aiding me along my way.

I've got a 1990 F250 XLT Lariat extended cab with a 7.3 IDI in it. Looking to lose the TTB and drop a solid axle in there, and maybe change the rear at the same time. But first, three things. Research, research, and more research!

Hoping to start a my first technical post, but am uncertain on how to go about doing that. Is there some restrictions on my profile as I have just created it, or am I just not able to find the right buttons yet...

Looking forwards to getting to know this part of the ford community!

Cheers

Zach

WELCOME ABOARD.

Fwiw, there is a fair-sized group of IDI addicts here, including me. = I'll likely buy a 1991 XLT Lariat with ZF tomorrow PM. - It has 105,000 original miles, too.
(My advice is: JUMP RIGHT IN.)

My name is James and I am in The Great State of Upper East Tennessee. I have a 2004 F250 Super Duty. I've owned it a little over a year and it has been parked far more than it has been driven, which is why I joined this forum. I am hoping to get some answers to a recurring problem. Thanks.
