How to change the Rear view mirror tint default

Anyone know how to change the rear view mirror default to be tinted? Would like to have it off and have to turn it on. Rather then it being on and having to turn it off. Thanks....

Damn, still doesn't work. What year trim etc? Are you referring to the autodimming rear view mirror I assume? what do you mean by turning it on or off? There is no way to have it be dimmed without power going to it.

05 F350.... Yes the autodimming rear view mirror. Default it is tinted (ON). I want the default to not be tinted(OFF). YEs this would be when the truck is on.
