Truck Cap Recommendations

Hello.....I have a black F-10 2007 super cab 4x4 with a 6-1/2' bed. I need a bed cap and I don't ne anything special. Just a color compatible, flip up rear wind with one or two latches, and may slide windows on the side.

Can anyone recommend a manufacturer or model that might work for me. How much should I pay, including installation.

Thanks!

A friend recently bought a new color-matched Leer from a dealer; $1650 installed. Very pretty.

I had a quote from a dealer for $1100 for basic white (unknown maker) plus installation; I figured that was $1300 by the time the smoke cleared.

I bought a used Craigslist R.A.E. in white for $300 plus $100 to get the wiring done. I watched about 8 months for a used one, and saw very few listed for the new body style trucks.

Plenty of choices but few of them cheap.

Truck cap Recommendations

I bought an aluminum cap with big windows manufactured locally for about four hundred this spring. I wanted something to keep my stuff dry, while camping, hunting etc. Not as nice looking as an ARE or Leer, but it keeps the bed dry.

We have always gotten CoverMaster caps for the work trucks. We have never had a problem with them. I think we paid $1,100 for these including installation. I have been throwing around the idea of a cap also. We seem to have similar trucks to.
