plow set up

well i bought a used plow today. 500 bucks for the whole deal minus the controller. and a guy at work has one of those he is selling me for 80 bucks. not all that bad off a deal. but i want to stiffen and raise the front end some first? any ideas? i was thinking add a leaf but i am not sure that it will hold the weight of the plow. any ideas that are really expensive?

Airbags will work great as well and are not expensive especially if you don,t want to compromise your normal ride just add air when you have the plow on and deflate for a normal ride without the plow.

By the way great price on the plow!

Airbags will work well and I have an add a leaf on my 350 that supports the 900# plow I use on it. Either will be fine.

i put add a leaf in mine. rides i little ruffer it you don't care. it is a must in my opinion if you don't have a 60 in that truck on the independent front when plow's are mounted on then it hits botton and its not long and the axel is broken at or near the piviot joint seen that few times

all my shocks have been blown since when i bought the truck. when i do the add a leaf i will be replacing all the shocks. ride quality should improve greatly.

i just mounted a 8ft western pro plow on my 250 but i did put a strait axle in it with an add a leaf and it squats my truck like an inch a lot less then i thought it would have originally.
