Also I know there is a law on a vehicle being too loud but if you aint speedin or being reckless then will the cops really pull you over if your trucks loud?

If they haven't met their quota of pulling people over, or if the neighborhood folk are sensitive to loud exhaust, and complain about it a lot you will probably get pulled over for it.

If you want really loud, but still want awesome sound leave the cats, but gut them. It makes one heck of a rumble. My buddy did it to his 98 1/2 ton 4.6(he had a single 18 inch glasspack that went out to duals), and it sounded better than just about anything on the road, such a mellow unique sound, and around here there are a lot of vehicles you can hear from a mile away, but when you heard his truck you knew it was him, and I can't say that about any other vehicle around. I would kind of like to hear what it would sound like with gutted cats and a muffler(Flowmaster/ Magnaflow) instead of a glasspack, but it's probably not as good.
