Welcome socalw!

Post up and tell us a little about you and, of course, a lot about your Ford truck(s)!

Thanks guys, just traded for a 56. Its the first father son project my son is 14 and I have 16 months to get it road worthy. I have some photos in my gallary. We are about to lower the front and then flip the rear axle. Will update photos on those projects soon.

Hey Jeff -thanks for coming in and introducing yourself to the group.

You say you have 16 months to get it done - does that mean it's going to be the kid's daily driver? How cool is that! You guys should have a ball with it.

There's a couple of guys with 56's in the chapter here, but they hang out mostly in the 48 - 60 forum.

Welcome to FTE & the SoCal/Hawaii Chapter.

Are you aware of the Early Ford Store (earlyfordstore.com) in San Dimas?

The place is a combo museum and Ford obsolete parts store.

It's also a time capsule. The store is in the original building that first housed the Ford dealer in 1916.

If anything, I'm a Ford historian first, partsman second.

Tho....some peeps 'round here might say I'm a PITA first, second, and last!
