i like to change the dana 44 to a stronger front
axle. what kind can i use (dana 60? dana 50?)
and how easy it to find them?
i have a dana 60 4:10 gears on the back.

Go with dana 60 from 78-79. Its WAY stronger and you get disc brakes. These are not cheap, I paid $1000 in 1984. Have fun and enjoy your ford.-
