headers

hi guys could anyone thats done a smallblock conversion on an early econoline p/u tell me if there are off the shelf headers that will fit or do i need custom pipes doghouse is already modified for a 289 thanks mick

I used 72 Mustang application headers on my 66 van with a 351C. I had cut the floor out to the "frame rail" and just folded it down. Don't know what doghouse mods you've made but mine were pretty extensive. I made custom exhaust for it.
