Electric Brake Hook Up

Is there an electric brake hookup on the 88 Bronco or do I have to make one?

Ford did not start putting integrated electric brake controllers into their trucks until the last year or so. You will have to go out and get one. You can get a cheap one for around 40 bucks, and will wire up in 30 minutes. A simple 4 wire connection. Just make sure you use a larger gauge wire from the battery to the controller, then from the controller to the plug on the rear of the truck. Electric brakes can use quite a bit of juice under hard braking! Honestly, I would use 12 gauge wire. Anything smaller, and you will either burn up the wire, or loose braking power, or both!
