Autolites have been said to swell. So when you go to remove them they get stuck. Beru/motorcraft have done this as well but I will not take the chance on anything other than Beru/Motorcraft. Too much work to take the chance.

One the VC gaskets as long as the connector is not burned or melted they can be reused.

 

The VC can be reused many times over. It is an o-ring style.

Get the motocraft (Ibelieve ZD-11's) GP's. The other ones are prone to coroding at the tip and getting stuck in there.
