I think that could get messy real fast. Very generous offer but unless you want to buy it all and take a chance on making a profit, after spending hours arranging shipping and all that...and what if two people wanted the same parts? Good luck if you can make it work!

Good point. I think I will still go down there, and see how much of it I can pick up cheap and offer it to all of you guys still needing stuff.

That sounds like a good plan.
If I were that close I would try to get as much as I could. At scrap prices a hood or fender would not be much. It would take a lot of sheet metal to make a ton. The biggest challenge would probably be storage but sheet metal survives fairly well outside if it is up off the ground where it can get air circulation around it and dry out.
It would be a shame to see it all crushed.

I am going to try and go down there next weekend with $200-$300 and see how much I can get into the back of the truck. If I am successful in obtaining a large amount, I will make sure it is all available to FTE members. I don't know how I will go about getting parts to everyone in need, but that can get worked out later. So far, I guess I will concentrate on fenders and hoods, and maybe grilles. The only reason I am willing to do this, is because of the amount of excellent parts shown in the photos, and the number of people here in need of those parts. I am not looking to get this stuff, and make big profits. I joined this club because of the amount of people building and helping to build these trucks. There is a lot of helping others on this forum, and that is my intent on getting these parts. I have a storage shed in my back yard, and am willing to get a storage shed locally to rent. I can only make one trip, and will try to get as much as I can, but beyond that, I have no resources to do a major buy and store thousands of parts. I will be making a scrap run this week and will be using that money to pay for this little trip. I guess I may be the closest one to them, and so I guess that makes me the most likely candidate to save this stuff.
