I normally hang out in the older F150 section, but I am look for a new truck and this is what a local dealer is marking the trucks down.
$14,000.00 off sticker on any new F150 on the lot.
So, the truck I am looking at list for $34980.00 -$14,000 discount - trade in of $7,500 = $13,480.00 for a new truck.
Look like I am buying this weekend if there are no tricks up there sleeves.

 

This is a great time to buy. I know someone who bought a Dodge Ram 1/2 off sticker. I think he paid 16K out the door without a trade.

 

good deal, but do you think you can get 7500.00 for your trade. Is that would you would like or the dealer will pay. If the dealer will pay it, I wouldn't think twice.

 

I was told on the phone they go by KBB. That's were I got my 7500.
I will be at the dealer in the morning (9am).

Make sure you work out your trade in value seperate from your deal on your 08 FX4. If you have a Car Max in your area, they will give you a trade in quote for free. You can even sell you car to them and not buy a car from them. I always do that first before I got to another dealer so I know where to negotiate my trade.

So your getting a Screw with a 6.5 bed! Thats a long truck! that wouldn't fit in my garage.

sounds great - please give more details tomorrow on how it goes. Locally they are advertising 4x2 Lariats for $22,995 and the ram 1500's for half off msrp. Have not seen any real good deals on 4x4's. Definitely not 14k off. I'm in the Tampa Bay Area of FL. (in case its not in my sig)

Something sounds fishy. List price for a stripped '08 FX4 cc 6.5 on Ford.com is $36,150. That's w/o leather and dubs. Just make sure all the t's are crossed and i's dotted. Was at dealer for service yesterday and they offered me a $36k FX4 supercab for $21.6k. Just didn't have the options I wanted.

Will I bought a f150, from a different dealer.
The dealer offering 14000 off did not have the truck when I got there, but could get it in a week. So I bought a S/c FX4 from a different dealer.
2008 FX4 S/C, silver over dark gray. very happy with it.

34,850.00 was the sticker - trade (2000 f150) - rebates and some dealing i got it for 17,550. I think it was a go deal. I love the floor shifter!!!!

 

What did they give you for your trade?

 

9,800.00 was trade and off sticker amount. We all know how they play with the numbers, so you could say 7,000 trade and 2,800 off OR 5,000 trade and 4,800 off sticker.
