I really need a new seat. I have an XL vinyl bench now thats all ripped and gettin worse by the day. I would like a 20/40/20, any suggestions on aftermarkets

 

I just pulled the seats out of a 96 ext cab xlt. The floor boards where a little different so some shimming will be required. All and all not too tough a task and worth the while. The vinyl seat I pulled was in good shape but it sure was hard on my back. Run an extra switched lead to them and you get the lumbar support.

 

Start looking in your local Craig's List. I see seats all the time, that's where I found mine.

 

Get seats out of a reg. cab or Crew. They'll bolt straight up. The seats from an ext. cab won't. They will fit, but with shimming and new bolt holes. I did the same thing as westcoastslider. Kinda a pain.
