E-350 Lug pattern

I've been looking at used Ford OEM alloys for my Dad's 2001 E-350. It seems that the Vans use an 8 X 6.5 lug pattern and the F-series/Excursion's use an 8 X 170 MM lug pattern. Would anybody be able to confirm that. They would obviously not be interchangable and I've got some sellers telling me F-Series Super Duty fit E-Series Super Duty. He's insisting on Ford rims even though you pay dearly for them.

the vans are 8 on 6.5
the trucks changed in 1997
look for truck wheels 1996 and earlier
or any off of a van
any one off the F super duty will not work

https://autofiles.com/wheels/ford/e-...per-duty/#2001 Yours are 8x165.1 (6.5)
I had a heck of a time finding OEM wheels for my 03 F350, those are 8x170 and if you have to change hubs you have to figure out if you have the course thread or fine thread lugs, what a PIA.

Nicksan, ya, i saw that. Im known to post in old threads that pop up for me when googling. lol. Its fun seeing how old the info is getting nowadays and threads alike. Also b/c it had so many views and so few posts i found it interesting, haha.

Mike1, ya i tried to help a friend (haha he'se a big boy and took him bout everything to do it) ie: get the snap ring for that wheel bearing or something on that hub off. SMH. I could'nt do it, He got it though. That was crazy to me.

Finnishstroker, do you know if you have to pull the motor out the van to change the injector cups?
I'm guessing yes, after what i just read. I had ordered some drain valve o rings and was reading about a injector rebuild tool and said it won't work on van b/c of clearance. (the purpose of the tool was for clearance on trucks to get injector cups out w/o pulln heads or motor. lol) Mines good for now, but now i know what that'll be like.. wheew. Bring the patience.

To me, impossible to clean injector bores, even if there's a tool that would clear it.

Also, doing valve springs needs a low profile/DIY tool, without pulling engine or raising body.

Can you remove the engine mounts for more clearance? Maybe one side at a time so you can get the engine back in place.
