DiPricol vs ISSPRO

I know that the ISSPRO gauges have been in circulation for some time...good gauges.

Anyone had any problems with the DiPricol gauges?

I have ISSPRO's EGT, boost & tranny temp. Only problem is occassionaly the connection at the sending unit for the tranny temp gauge used to get some moisture in it and it sends the gauge batty, after cleaning the connection a few times I finally shrink wrapped the connection and no problem.

I also have two DiPricol gauges (fuel press, HPOP) in for a year or so - they are sweet. If I had to choose between the two, DiPricol would get my vote.

I recently had the same question and it appeared the general consensus was DiPricol.

DiPricols were my first choice, so I bought them. I have the boost, EGT, HPOP, and fuel pressure gauges. They look awesome and are a perfect match to the dash cluster.

Isspro's were my second choice. They work well, but I think the DiPricols are just a tad nicer looking IMHO.

I chose Isspro because at the time, they were the only one that offers the color banding of the EGT gauge. It gives you that extra visibility of the temperature when pulling a hill without having to interprete numbers in your head.

I chose the Dipricols as well for the same reasons that have already been stated.

Dan, the DiPricol EGT gauge's scale goes to red at 1300 as well. I love the way mine look. It was the LED backlighting that did it for me. Worth the extra few buck (every penny!).

It' kinda a wash for me, I have ISSPROs and have received compliments on how well they match the cluster. The dash doesn't have LED lighting and neither do my ISSPROs.

I know Jason, but I'll never have to screw with bulbs. None of my stock gauges have a green or yellow scale, either.

I've heard of issues with them in gauges with bulbs. They are also nice & evenly lit -- very well done. You wouldn't know they were LED lit other than they look very sharp. Not trying to say NOT to get ISS's, but the DiPricols match perfectly, have a very smooth reaction, and look great. I almost got the ISSPro set, I decided to drop a little extra for DiPricols because of the match and the LEDs. They seem to have a bit of an edge -- to each his own!!

So very true, but maybe if the stock temp gauges had one they would really work.

I haven't replaced a bulb in my dash cluster for 215K and 9 yrs. I don't know how that is possible.

I will agree the LED lighting would give a nice and even lighted look.

Dash lights tend to last for many years. I hardly ever have to go in for that at work.
Those Diprocols look nice, but still do not have the green and yellow.
For me that is better.
