These are not great times for the original three North American auto manufacturers. I just hope fuel prices come down real soon.
This is way too much of a change for my liking but I suppose that`s progress................
Make one wonder what cars shows will be like in the future. Will it be only neon coloured ricers with big wings, dual fart cans and strobe lights, some kid asking resto questions on a 2201 XYZ car from China bought thru Wallyworld?

i'm with ya on that one marlon. i'll be keeping this '08 for quite a while if thats the case, but i suspect that with dropping fuel prices, things will level off to a happy medium. they'll just have to be extra careful to only put out the best of quality because any warranty boo-boo's could mean curtains!!

doesn't suprise me, and if they bought more advertising from the media they'd probably be the best there ever was... i could care less what the rest of the world thinks of them as long as they keep putting out a great product that suits the needs of ME not suprising that chebby nor dodge made top honors, those guy have been slipping for a while now.

A friend is looking at a new 4x4 half ton - he doesnt have brand preferences. He told me last night that the Transport Canada fuel ratings were 3 or 4 mpg higher for the 5.3 Chevy vs Ford 5.4, Dodge hemi, Toyota, and Nissan. I think they are buying in the states - a $10000 saving is too big to ignore!

We are all looking for some good news re-enforcement. Its like when we read sled reviews. If the magazine cuts down what you are riding it has no credibility (until next time your brand is on top)! We are all too predictable!

lol...here we go again... i'll tell you right now, even money, the chevy 5.3 doesn't get any better mileage than anything else. i've spoken to guys who have each...more guys with chevy's and they're barely breaking 20-22mpg on the highway. one fella claims 26mpg in a dodge with the hemi... i wouldn't believe it, but he drives very conservatively and hasn't been a BS spreader about anything else...
