1989 f250 transfer case

Where can I get detailed parts sheet for this transfer case.I want to pull the case apart but I've never been in one before and I'de like to get some idea how everything works and goes together before I tear it apart. For some time now it pops out of gear in 4 high.Seems to be O.K. on acceleration but kicks out at deceleration. That's going forward. In reverse it kicks out immediately.4 wheel low works just fine.Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Must be you have a BW 13-56 case right?

Sounds to me like worn shift forks, has small nylon tips that you may find worn right down and into the metal of the fork itself. Swapping in new forks may be all it needs.

Someone before had posted picture of it but I'm not sure what case it was. Here is a diagram of the BW 13-56.
