I sure appreciate the feedback that everyone of you has provided. I will certainly look at the title and the vin# and provide you all with that feedback. I could not believe that the WWW has not produce more pictures of owners trucks that are the same setup as mine (body wise).Again, thanks for all of the responses. I enjoy knowing a little history on the truck model. hotrodhenson
The only thing that's identifiable as to what yr it is in the pics is the 1961 grille, 1961/62 hood side emblem.
That proves nothing as the grille could be used 1961/64, even on 1965/66's.
You might have a 1964 pickup with a 1961 grille, hood side emblems from a 1961/62.
That's no Y block 8 cylinder engine under the hood, and the only 8's offered 1961/64 are Y blocks.
Dual master cylinders weren't offered till 1967.
1961/63: Your truck was originally either a cab and chassis or a flareside pickup.
You don't need to search the web, look thru the 100's of pics of owners trucks in the member galleries here on FTE.
Look at the VIN's last 6 digits, that's the serial number.
1961 serial number range: 100,001 thru 205,000 / 1962: 205,001 thru 325,000 / 1963: 325,001 thru 445,000
1964: 445,001 thru 580.000 / 1965: 580,001 thru 732,000 / 1966: 732,001 thru 914,000.
