thinking of selling my 94 7.3 idi turbo crew cab 4x4 what it worth?
i've been toying with the idea of selling my 94 f-350 7.3 idi turbo srw crew cab 4x4.255 k miles runs great. ats down pipe, 4 " exhaust. black exterior, gray interior. e4od trans. new radiator, balljoints tierods, drag link, u joints, fuel tanks, fuel and brake lines, rotors, batteries, glow plugs, up graded 26,000gvw transmission cooler, front rear brakes, rotors, calipers, valve cover gaskets. have the antifreeze flushed every year with the ford cavitation additive also. any how truck is rusted around the reasr wheel lips, and starting on the front fenders, i havn't had time to go south and get a bed and fenders. doors are in great shape and so is the floorpans. i've had it to north carolina, michigan, new york is very reliable, and believe it or not i don't have to add any oil between oil changes! i change oil at 3,000 miles so that may be part of it. any how what do you guys think would be a fair price on this truck? i don't really use it any more as i have 6 trucks and my 95 f-250 ext cab diesel is easier to drive daily than a 94 long bed crew cab and better on fuel. any how just looking for some input. thanks, pete

Check NADA or Kelley Blue book. I have a '94 F350 CC 7.3L Factory Turbo DRW 8' bed. I bought it in '96 and it had 77,000 on it(it's got 97,000 on it now.). I paid $11,000 but KBB said it was worth $9500. Mine is also a conversion, interior isn't stock, custom paint. It looks like Mega Cabs truck only 2'-3' shorter.

Considering the cost of diesel, I think you may have a hard time getting that much for that truck right now. If there is rust on the wheel wells than I would say $4500 tops all things considered. But the going rate for a used truck varies greatly depending on what part of the country you are in. Might want to check local ads to see if there are any other comparable trucks and what the going rate is.

I paid 4K for one about 2-3 months ago here in OR and it had 368K on it. It's in pretty good shape though for a 14-15 year old truck. It's the same as yours but a 5-spd. and two-tone darkblue/silver. It has rust everywhere on the undercarriage but it's the "surface" type with no rust-through. The paint's pretty good and the interior is AWESOME.
I totally agree with what everyone says about the undesireable nature of trucks right now but I still see the same prices being asked as they always were. They may not be GETTING it though.

well i got the truck sold for $5500, but that included my 105 gallon transfer tank with elec. pump.i didn't have time to take it out. oh well i've got another one from another truck i bought. the truck needed tires also. i'm looking for f-350 to pull my goosneck with now, i've got my eyes on a 89 f-250 extended 4x4 7.3 with a 5 spd in it. i would prefer a 94 idi turbo so i could change the down pipe, compressor housing, full 4 " exhaust and turn up the pump a little and have plenty of power, the 7.3 n/a just doesn't cut it when your hauling 15,000-20,000 threw the hills!! (the thought of that just make me cringe)ha-ha talk to you guys later
