Just got a boat, only problem is it has a tape deck instead of a cd deck. I think the mounting slot takes regular car stereos, and I'm not sure but I think the chasis code should be IEJ. Before any hunting for a cd player is done, I would like to find out if anyone here thinks there is a chance of using a regular car stereo?

IEJ is that a cructhfield term ? The chassis is actually a DIN chassis, and yea you can use a normal car stereo, but get a cover that flips over the face to protect it from splashes and flips up when you want to tune it in or change cd's, crutchfield sells them i believe for like 30 dollars
