F150 2wd 460 exhuast

I have a '79 2wd with a 460 with single exhuast. I am looking for a bolt on dual exhuast. LMC carries systems for eveything but the 460. Will a system for a 351/400 M work on a 460? I can do some mods but I guess the point is to find one that fits. Does anyone else carry a kit?
Thanks for the help

Why not just take it down to a muffler shop and have them do it? All said and done, it will run you about the same price. And depending on the muffler you might want to buy one (or two) elsewhere. I would do this especially if you want true dual exaust. because most aftermarket dual exausts are usually single to dual.

welcome to FTE!

LMC is good for some things, but they are not a sponsor of this site. there are many sponsors on this site (left side of the page in the blue).

also as hairyboxnoogle said if you want a true dual exhaust take it to a muffler shop.

oh and I think that the exhausts from LMC are for 351M/400 not 351/400 M.

The problem with putting duals on a 79 pickup is by law they need a converter on them and an exhaust shop cannot legally make it.(tampering with emission controls) LMC can't legally sell it with out a converter. You can make your own

In that case, order the exhaust for a '77, or '78 (pre-CC)...they're the same.
