As a side issue - has anyone managed to get a price on a set of 20" Detroit Steel smoothies?

I need 5 lug wheels for my F600

I have five rusty widow makers and one Goodyear split ring on my 53' F600 dump truck four of the widow makers hold air as does the (safe) Goodyear wheel my truck has 8.25-20 on the back and 7.50-20 on the front my neighbor has an old motorhome with 19.5 tubeless wheels that she will sell but could I get tires close to factory diameter? Also off topic but does anyone know of a bellhousing to mate a 351 to a T-98 , Your knowledge is greatly appreciated

Your 8.25 x 20s are about 38" tall, and the 7.50 x 20s are in the 36-37" neighborhood. The 19.5s on the motor home are 5.25" or 6.00" wide and are spec'd for 8R19.5" tires at 33.5-34" diameter. To get up to the diameter of your 20s you'll need 22.5s with 9R22.5" tires. Can't help on the bellhousing. Stu

I had three widow makers and three lock ring. I decided to go with all new wheels and, as Stu said, went with 9R22.5's to replace the 8.25x20's. They are an exact replacement. Not sure why you have 7.50x20's on the front. That's not a common practice. Sorry I can't help with the clutch housing.

From what I understand, the centers can be removed from the old wheels and remounted in the new outer rims for additional $$$. I bought my wheels from American Wheel Specialists in Pasco, WA.

Any ideas on how much more it would be to use my existing centers?

No longer available from American Wheel Specialist. Try Chuck's Trucks LLC.

Yeah, I had heard this from Chuck. AWS has always been a west coast wholesaler, but now they have added Chuck as an eastern partner. Good partner to have. Stu
