Yes sir. Did it about a month ago. My 78 has been sitting in the back of my garage for 20 years. Take a look at my thread about starting to redo it.

Best way I have found is to tow the truck, with the engine off and tranny in nuetral. Between 5 and 10 mph push in the clutch and slam the tranny into takeoff gear(1st for a three speed, 2nd for a granny 4 speed) Always works first time every time.
Main reason a clutch gets stuck is that it is glazed. If it sits for a while the resin in the friction plate will bond with the flywheel and pressure plate.

When plan A - starting gear and bumping it around - doesn't work time for plan B.

Pull the inspection cover and get a helper to push the clutch. Use a big screwdriver or similar and a hammer to lightly tap the edge of the disc itself. Just tap it towards the center and slightly away from the flywheel. This has always worked for me when bumping it failed. Once free, drive it around and work the clutch to clean things up.

There is no inspection cover on my truck. Tried doing that but could not get to it. Even pulled the starter and tried getting to it through the hole where the starter mounts.

I bought a dodge in the 80's . Clutch was stuck . Popped it a few times , good to go . Just had a Kubota tractor in the shop . Had to split it . The clutch came out in about 15 pieces ! Story is , it don't always go so smooth ! The tractor only sat 3 months ! Outside , but only 3 months . A bear to split also !

High humidity and outside storage seems to make it worse. When it happens to me I set the parking brake, put the transmission in high gear, depress the clutch fully, engage the starter motor and hope for the best. So far it has always broken it loose without breaking anything else.

I have freed many tractors, cars and trucks by JACKING the rear wheels off the ground. This eliminates all the the towing ,can't start or stop, tough on grinding trannys, etc, etc, stuff . Once a vehicles rear wheels are up a few inches off the ground, with safety stands, start her up in gear with the clutch pushed in.Very little pressure on the starting system etc. now that it doesn't have to move an entire truck and no jamming into gear. Rev it up a bit to get the wheels spinning, clutch still depressed, and slam on the brakes. Might take a few slams but this will do the trick and you don't stand a chance of hitting the neighbors mailbox. gary

This is a bit more work, but overall safer and more prudent to avoid damage to anything.
