No start

I have a 2003 F-250XL 2wd 5.4

Once you get it up to running temps then turn it off it wont start again until it cools down...

It just sits there and cranks...

Any ideas? I called a dealer ship and they said it was probally a fuel pump...But i dont see how it would be a fuel pump...If it were the fuel pump wouldnt it always give problems? It runs smooth (When it runs)

You can remove the air cleaner have someone crank the moter and spray gas into the intake or starting fluid in a can. if there are any other hoses or openings in the intake you could use those areas. i have a efi v6 work truck and thats how i primed it.

Oh ok...Thanks...I'll give that a try

Any other ideas?

I'd rather not take it in for the $105 diagnostics at ford...
