exhaust back pressure sensor

I need a new EBS. Does the sensor from International work on Ford trucks, or does Ford change them to fit their programing? International is half the price and has them on the shelf. My truck is a 96 with a door tag that says built in 6/96. I was given two choices, black plastic #1807330C1 or tan plastic #1807369C2. The parts guy didn't know which one I needed because I didn't have the Navistar motor SN. Does the International sensor work and which one would I need, or do I need to go to Ford? Your thoughts....

The IH sensor is fine. I would get your serial number though so that you get the right one. Here is a pic that will show you where the serial number is

Tj

I believe the #1807369C2 is the update sensor.
I think it has platinum internals.

Thanks guys. SN located. The SN did show that I needed the 369C2 sensor. I did run without the sensor for about 9 months. Ran ok, but seemed down on boost and milage. Want to replace to see if it makes a difference. I believe that the EBS is not part of the power loop but you never know. Thanks again
