Can you spin ur tires?

Can you all spin ur tires in the 80 or 120 settings? I thought I'd get some wheel spin from this tuner.

I run the bullydog on 120, and i can spin my tires sometimes without brakes. If i am at a stoplight and touch the brakes real light, and giver throttle, i can sit and roll smoke off the duals on the right side all day. I cant get all 4 rear tires doin unless its decent ashpalt.

37 inch tires, 100 or 120 HP setting on the DP chip, Maybe. A foot or two off the line is when it starts ( I never power brake), if it happens at all. I can get it do it in corners when not even trying, but that's when I don't want wheel spin.

BUT, I am getting some new Ring and Pinion sets for my truck this Spring, and we'll see what improvement it makes (in the MPG department).

Dave..

I can brake to get 10# boost and I can get 4 tire marks for 10 ' or I can brake and get the boost to 15# and light them up all 4. Once I hit 15# they start spinning. When I race someone I have to put it in 4x4 to get traction. In 4x4 I will boost to 20# and let go of the brake What a ride. lol

In 120 and 140, somtimes I can get some good wheelspin with 35s, most of the time they just chip. if I power break it at all then I can really get them spinning. Turning out of my neighbor hood I have gotten sideways before though ...that was on bald tires, but still it was dry and these trucks are heavy lol

From a dead stop at this altitude, I have too much turbo lag to break the tires loose. Now with the foot on the brake, give it some throttle, and yes I'll burn these tires off the rim.

No tire spin here, I think it's an early 99 thing. Can anyone with an early 99 spin their tires without power braking?

I am pretty sure I can spin mine as they leave black marks when I want them too. Strange tires I have. No protest from them at all. They make no sound whatsoever.

I can. My back tires are just about slicks now. Been putting off new tires for weeks. And I don't have the luxury of a 4WD launch.

EDIT: Mike, mine don't make noise either. I guess that's why I didn't know I was turning them into slicks.

Ya'll be careful about how far you let those tires wear down. Bad rear tires were the reason I lost traction which resulted in a flipped truck.
