Mono-Springs

Lots of folks use the late 60's early 70's rear end. What's the problem with using the same years "Mono-Springs" front end? I believe somewhere around '72 power brakes were introduced. Seems like the 4x4 was first for some unknown reason.

I could certainly be way off the mark with this. I'm picking up a '72 for it's dana 60, 390 engine and transmission and I'd like to find out what else I might be able to use off it.
