Any update? Done it, yet?

You have 4x4 and weight, something he doesn't have. Of course you will win if you go 4x4 vs his 4x2. But, if you both go 4x2, anything can happen. You have the weight advantage, but traction will be the next deciding factor.

We have it slated for after final exams, so if something goes terribly wrong it wont be that big of a deal...

I'll keep you posted!

Results!

Well, in an incredibly anticlimactic pull-off, the strap ripped in half with a really loud pop, which was interesting, but not really that exciting. So thats what happened... Was hoping for something better, but hey...

Time to get a new tow strap and try again. We're pulling for you!

Instead of towing that guy's 5.3 away no prob, maybe you should each hook up 13k on a trailer and drag race up a hill for 3/4 of a mile and then see who can drag more faster!! Dude you ought to walk away with that 5.3 pretty easily!! The only way he would win is if you drive wrong and break too much traction!!

that would be unfair. 1/2 ton VS. 3/4 ton. You will win all of this hands down. Two different trucks. Yours is better, his is not. Use chain, quit buying tow straps
