What are you going to do for tires? My buddy just put 35's on his f250 with a 2 1/2" leveling kit and two extra inches on the rear. Looks great

It depends on your budget or the tires you want to run. You should be able to level it for under a grand. Lift kits will be $600-1600 just for parts and 6-10 hours to install. 35" will just fit under a 2" leveling kit, but better under a 4" lift.

Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2" mini spring pack or the RCD 2" hanger and shackle would give you what you are looking for.

An adjustable trac bar isn't "needed" but is a nice option to add to either one.

I have a lift question, I think I know the answer, but I'd love to be wrong. I have a Pro-Comp 4" lift on my 2002 F250, and Toyo Open Country MT which rub on the leafs. I think my only option is to change the offset of my wheels with either new wheels or spacers, nether of which do I want to do.

I did 4 and 35. In other words, 4" lift and 35s on stock 20s.

I look at it this way, the lift is only a one time cost. The tires on the other hand is going to be almost 2K every 40-50K miles or about a year and months for me.

2002 Lariat wheels. I haven't found the first set of aftermarket wheels I'd pay money for, so I am stuck with these.

4" Donahoe Racing (now Icon Vehicle Dynamics) front springs and 5" blocks in back (replaced stock 2" blocks). Love the ride and the functionality. Running 35x12.50 Toyo ATs and have over 1.5" clearance from any surface it may rub on at full lock, this is with 16x10 wheels with 4.5" backspacing.

hey guys thanks for all the input yea as far as tires i wanna go a little bigger not much though (not sure exactly how much) and i am DRW so i wanna go a tad wider as much as i can without rubbin in the back but i'm leaning towards just a leveling kit if i did lift it'd only be like two in the rear and maybe four up front so it levels out but i am strongly leanin towards to leveling kit so i've seen where some brands ie rancho (which i had my last truck lifted with) has a full spring that is two inches or two and a half i cant remember, or you guys think a spring pack, or shackles? i had ad a leafs in the rear on my last truck but unsure on reliability in the front or if shackles would be better? which of the three? thanks ahead for any input i got two jobs so i get on here sparatically (however you spell it)

With a DRW I'd go with just a leveling kit and not raise the back at all. I don't think you can go much bigger than a few 285s, so if you lift it they will look small.

Full packs from a quality manufacture are the most comfortable way to go. Shackles and add-a-leafs can cause the ride to become less comfortable. Plus Mil wrapped springs are cool.

If you just want to stop the tire from rubbing, adjust the stops so they wont turn as far.

I went the leveling kit route; 2.5" on front and 3" blocks on rear; 35X12.5 on 20X8. No rub at full turn. Plenty of reasons to go either way. I put 40 - 50K per year on mine and this is a better option for me. Normally will trade within 3 yrs or 140K miles.
