got the letter this week bout the recall. is the refund good if the cps was installed in a private shop?

 

I don't think that Ford will refund. It seems like someone already tried that. Do you still have the old one? If so, stick it back on and let Ford change it and be on your way. Keep the other for a spare.

I sure told the other member that they needed the old one for the exchange.

You might make an anonymous call to the service and ask.

I Could be wrong though.
