I wouldn't see why not. Both clusters are computer driven as far as data input for speed, rpm, etc. The standard clusters physically appear the same, and as far as I can tell operate the same.

I can't speak for the NBS trucks, but I know on the OBS trucks there were small differences among the years for how the cluster was wired, so you might end up with indicator lights that are on all the time and others that won't light at all.

isnt the RPM range different on the 7.3 and the 6.0. I thought the 6.0 goes to 5 or 6k and the 7.3 only goes to 4K RPMs. I know the warning light loactions are different but not sure about the wiring and signals get mixed up.

Best bet would be to check out the wire pinouts via a shop manual. You could always de pin the connector to make things match. Every year has distinct differences usually. For a really small fee, you can view the shop manual and wiring diagrams for any Ford back to '96 electronically on motorcraft technical resources. 72hour subs is $10. Might try that...

Go to motorcraft.com. On the upper toolbar will be a 'technical resources' tab. Click it and you will then navigate away from the main motorcraft page. You will need to sign up and create an account. From there, select which vehicle(s) you want information on. They will give you access to any manual whether it be a vacuum booklet, to the full shop manual, to the wiring pinouts, ground locations, Oasis access, TSBs, everything a trained Ford technician has access to.

*I am not affiliated to motorcraft.com, helm inc, or Ford tech resources. I'm just a happy customer...
Good luck, and let me know if you need any help!

That's awesome. I had no idea the everyday person would be able to access (and print) that info for such a reasonable price. THANKS!
